Parent-child conflicts are devastating to the family dynamic, especially in parental alienation cases. Dr. Baker is a nationally recognized expert in parental alienation, and parent-child relationships, especially children of divorce, and emotional abuse of children. She has a Ph.D. in developmental psychology from Teachers College of Columbia University. She is the author or co-author of 10 books and over 120 academic articles on topics related to children’s well-being.

Kelley Baker has counseled individuals and families in the Austin area since 1994. She was educated at Texas State University, where she earned a B.A. degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance. Dr. Baker has specialized in providing mental health services to families during divorce and post-divorce since 2001.  She has completed over 200 hours of specialized training for mental health professionals working with families of divorce, conducting custody evaluations,  and the assessment and treatment of parental alienation. Bill Bernet is a Harvard Medical School graduate, professor emeritus at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, board certified in general psychiatry, child psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry.  Dr. Bernet has written professional articles and book chapters on a variety of subjects, including: group and individ­ual therapy with children and adolescents; humor in psychother­apy; forensic child psychiatry; child maltreatment; true and false allegations of abuse; satanic ritual abuse; reincarnation; child custody and visitation; parental alienation; testimony regarding behavioral genomics; and risk management. Richard Gardner
Richard A. Gardner (April 28, 1931 – May 25, 2003) was an American child psychiatrist known for his work in psychotherapy with children, parental alienation and child custody evaluations. Based on his clinical work with children and families, Gardner introduced the term parental alienation syndrome (PAS). He wrote 41 books and more than 200 journal articles and book chapters. He developed child play therapy and test materials that he published through his company Creative Therapeutics. Gardner was an expert witness in child custody cases.
